Mavouna Avocats undertakes to implement adequate measures to ensure the protection, confidentiality and security of your personal data and to process and use such data in compliance with the applicable provisions and in particular with the European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter the "General Data Protection Regulation") and Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, known as the "Loi Informatique et Libertés", and any other law or regulation that may supplement or replace it (hereinafter the "Applicable Regulations").

In the context of the execution of the fee agreements that we conclude with our clients (the " Clients ") Mavouna Avocats (hereinafter "Mavouna Avocats") collects and processes Personal Data concerning the Clients, employees, representatives, and/or managers of the Clients in order to enable it to manage the contractual relationship. The data collected is only that which is strictly necessary for the performance of our services.

In this context, Mavouna Avocats, in its capacity as Data Controller, is required to implement Data Processing, in compliance with the Applicable Regulations, the purposes of which are the management of Clients (including for contact and communication purposes) the execution of the assignments entrusted to us, in particular the provision of legal services, the management of the contract, invoices, accounting, the follow-up of the contractual relationship), and more generally the management of operations allowing us to communicate with the Clients regarding the assignments they have entrusted to Mavouna Avocats. The data collected may also be used for analysis purposes (such as trends, progress of marketing actions, click-through and opening rates).

Similarly, and subject to the absence of opposition, Clients may receive newsletters, informational content on various professional and legal subjects, press releases, invitations to training sessions or events organised by Mavouna Avocats, all in an exclusively professional context.

2. Hosting of the site

The Treatments implemented in this context are based on : The Processing implemented in this context is based on :

- the execution of the contract: this concerns Processing whose purpose is the execution of the missions entrusted by the Clients to Mavouna Avocats, the management of the contract, the invoicing and the follow-up of the contractual relationship;

- the legitimate interest of Mavouna Avocats, and more particularly its economic interest: this concerns Processing linked to commercial prospecting operations. Indeed, this processing contributes to the promotion and improvement of its services by Mavouna Avocats and benefits visitors to the Site, Clients, employees, representatives and/or managers of Clients (who thus benefit from additional services free of charge) as well as Mavouna Avocats without infringing on the interests, rights and fundamental freedoms of Clients.

- the respect of its legal obligations by Mavouna Avocats: this concerns Processing linked to accounting and tax obligations for example.

3. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The Personal Data collected and processed in this context, as well as the entire file associated with the Clients, will be kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and for the applicable statute of limitations (5 years in this respect). It may also be kept for a period of 10 years to comply with accounting and tax obligations.

4. TO WHOM IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA DESTINED?

The Personal Data collected and processed in this context are accessible to the competent internal departments, i.e. lawyers, legal experts (and, where applicable, trainees) dealing with Client requests, persons in charge of invoicing, communication and IT.

The information collected and in particular the Personal Data may be communicated to third parties, acting as Subcontractors, bound by a subcontracting agreement to carry out, in particular, hosting, storage, communication, data processing, database management or computer maintenance services. These subcontractors only act on instructions from Mavouna Avocats and will only have access to your Personal Data to perform their services. They will be bound by the same security and confidentiality obligations as Mavouna Avocats.

5. IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA TRANSFERRED OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION?

The Personal Data collected and processed in this context are hosted within the European Union and are not transferred outside the European Union.
